We celebrated Margaret's 5th birthday last weekend, and everyone had alot of fun. She had her very first friend party and the theme was "Under the Sea." There were Cake balls, cupcakes, goldfish, chocolate treasure and lots of other goodies. We played "Pin the crown on Ariel", Freeze Dance, and colored pictures of a mermaid. All-in-all, I think that everyone had a great time!
Margaret's yummy birthday breakfast, made by Dad and served on the special birthday plate!
Pay no attention to the fat lady in the glasses. But Margaret insisted on having a picture with me.
It's a long-standing tradition in our house to go to Chuck-E-Cheese on the actual day of your birthday. The kids love it.
This isn't even the present from Steven that she's holding, but I thought that this was such a cute picture.
Here are the kids playing Freeze Dance.
Here she is, just about to blow out the candle on her cupcake.
Margaret got some crazy fake pink hair and she insisted on wearing it for the rest of the day.
Well, I can't believe that my little girl is 5 years old. I wish that I could say that time has flown by, but I was shocked when I realized that my little girl is ONLY 5 five years old. It made me feel so horrible. She started walking and talking and doing everything that her big brother did at such a young age, that it was so easy for us to think that she and Steven were the same age. But he's actually 21 months older than she is! Hopefully she can forgive me for sometimes expecting her to act older than she really is... it's so hard to remember that she's still so little. But one thing that has always been the same and will never change is my love for this sweet little character. I love you, Margaret!
